Hydraulic Impact Hammers (MENCK)
MENCK Hydraulic Hammers are available in different set-ups purpose built for your application. They operate above water and under water, on inclined and straight piles, from the smallest piles to the largest with literally no limitations.
Intelligent Seals and Gaskets
- KaMOS® RTJ Seal and KaMOS® Camprofile Gaskets are manufactured by Karmsund Maritime Offshore Supply AS, Norway. The RTJ seal and Camprofile gasket system allows the integrity of the seal to be tested without testing the pipe run that has been repaired or modified. The design of both seal systems incorporates an annulus between the inner and outer seal area. The annulus is pressurised during the testing process and indicates operational inner seal failure prior to total seal failure. This ability to predict imminent seal problems allows planned and not reactive maintenance to be implemented. The seals are available in a wide range of sizes, materials and pressure ratings.
Internal Lifting Tools (ILT’s)
– Designed by Industrikonsult AS (Norway) these hydraulically operated lifting tools are used to lift and position steel tubular piles. The innovative design allows each ILT to be converted to cover a series of pile sizes. ILT’s are available for handling pile sizes ranging from 22” to 84” and are supplied complete with power packs and hose reels. The design is certified by DNV and meets the requirements for Planning and Execution of Marine Operations, Part 2, Chapter 5 Lifting, Jan 96.
KaMOS® Portable Valve Actuator
- This piece of equipment allows manual valves to be opened / closed using a compressed air drive. It is very user friendly and installation is a one-time operation. The unit can be supplied in its own self-contained box.
Low Pressure Pipe Line Plugs
– A comprehensive range of pipe line plugs are available for rental through CAPE Malaysia. The equipment complies to DNV regulations and are designed and manufactured by Industrikonsult AS (Norway).
Pipe Line Plugs and Plugging Services
– In conjunction with Plugging Specialist International (PSI) CAPE can offer a complete solution for the plugging of sub-sea pipe lines required during maintenance and testing. The PSI range of equipment includes the ‘SmartPlug’ The ‘SmartPlug’ is a tetherless remotely operated pipeline isolation system which utilises ELF (extremely low frequency) electromagnetic waves for communication and data transfer through the pipeline wall. It monitors all critical parameters within the pipeline such as pressure
and temperature.
Sub-Sea Piling Frame ‘Fast Frame’
– Maintaining position and verticality during the installation of piles underwater is extremely difficult. To overcome these problems U.K. based Sea Steel Limited have designed their ‘Fast Frame’ guide system. During piling the closed ‘Fast Frame’ system is positioned on the seabed and the pile is inserted into the guide tube. As the pile is driven, its position and verticality are maintained by the guide. The guide is automatically opened when keys, welded to the outside of the pile being driven, engage with the guide tube. During the recovery and repositioning of the ‘Fast Frame’ the guide is automatically closed.
